LONG GROVE, Iowa – The Coe College women's golf team wrapped up a historic weekend at the American Rivers Conference championships Monday, completing the best finish in school history with a second-place effort. The Kohawk women shot a tournament best 321 in the final round, led by sophomore
Lia Maxwell who shot 77, the lowest round from any Kohawk during the championship. Maxwell, who finished T8 to earn all-conference honors, made one birdie and had 10 pars and birdie in her final 13 holes after four early bogeys.
Paige Franzen came up clutch in the final holes of her first A-R-C championship appearance, earning all-conference honors as she tied for 10th by making four straight pars to end her round.

Madison Connolly (81) and
Kye Daywitt (82) wrapped up Coe's day two scoring, finishing 14th, 25th and 13th respectively. With their finishes, Witte and Daywitt secured honorable mention all-conference honors.
