ASBURY, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team was in action at the Loras College Spring Invite Sunday and Monday at The Meadows Golf Course. The Kohawk men were led by a pair of top-20 finishes by Gavin Jennings and Lane Pierson as the duo placed T19 at 15 over par for the 36 holes. Pierson had Coe's best round of the tournament with an opening round 73, making four birdies in his one-over par round. Jennings was consistent in both rounds, shooting 81 Sunday before a six-over par 78, making three birdies in his second round. C. Reece Breitenbach and Sam Scully were behind the leading Kohwaks, finishing at 18 over for the tournament to place T26. Both players posted rounds of 80 and 82, helping Ceo to an eighth-place team finish.
