MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Coe College men's golf team continued its 2025 spring season over the weekend, finishing second at Monmouth College's Fighting Scot Spring Invite Saturday and Sunday. The Kohawk men had a trio of top individual finishes during the weekend with Sam Scully, Gavin Jennings and Lane Pierson placing inside the top 11 of the leaderboard. Scully was the top placer, finishing sixth with rounds of 72 and 77 to post a total score of 149. Scully was closely followed by Jennings who finished the tournament with a final score of 152, posting back-to-back rounds of 76 to finish T7. Pierson made it three top-11 finishes for the Kohawks, recording rounds of 75 and 79 to secure a tie for 11th. C. Reece Breitenbach was the final Kohawk to affect the team score, posting scores of 77 and 80 to place T22. Karl Liedtke (T33), Matt Lawton (T33) and Cameron Daniell (T49) rounded out the individual finishes for the Kohawks.
