Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Loras College on Tuesday evening in its final regular-season match of the year. The Kohawks kept a clean sheet in the first half despite five shots on goal from the Duhawks but
Maxwell Twight kept it scoreless at the break. The Duhawks grabbed the lead in the 60th minute on a headed attempt and were awarded a penalty kick in the 84th minute which they converted to secure the 2-0 victory. Coe ends the season 1-14-3 overall and 0-6-2 in the American Rivers Conference while Loras moves to 10-6-1 and 5-2-1 in the league.

- Coe started the game well, keeping Loras at bay while Chance Newton had an early shot attempt in the 13th minute that missed the frame. The Duhawks first shot on target came in the 15th minute where Twight was tested but he made the save to keep it scoreless. Loras had a flurry of shots later in the half near the 20th minute where the Kohawk keeper was called into action but again he stood up to the challenge for Coe.
- Loras was on the front foot in the second half, registering four shots in the first ten minutes of the period but a pair of saves from Twight kept the hosts off the board. The Duhawks got on the score sheet in the 60th minute as a header from Juan Jose Arias Mondragon finally beat the Coe keeper to put Loras up 1-0. The Kohawks lone shot on goal came just under ten minutes later but an attempt from Mac Buckley was saved as Connor Fitzpatrick kept the Loras lead intact.
- Late in the second half Loras was awarded a penalty after a header toward the box deflected off a defender's arm as the Duhawks secured the victory by converting from the penalty spot.
