DES MOINES, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team completed its 2023-24 season on Tuesday, playing the final 18 holes of the American Rivers Conference Championships at Glen Oaks Country Club. The Kohawk men fired a three-day total of 964, finishing in eighth place in the team standings, just one stroke behind Buena Vista. Coe's round three total of 313 was its lowest of the tournament by 12 strokes, besting its opening round mark of 325.
Lucas Geiger made headlines individually, earning his second-career all-conference honor with a tie for 10th place. The senior from Mt. Prospect, Illinois fired his low round of the tournament on Tuesday, posting a third-round 75 to secure the all-conference status.
C. Reece Breitenbach and
Alec Brockmeyer were Coe's next-highest finishers, posting three-day totals of 242 to tie for 27th place.
Sam Scully and
Gavin Jennings rounded out Coe's finishes, tying for 41st place with 54-hole scores of 253.
