PLATTEVILLE, Wisc. – Coe men's soccer would make the trip out to Platteville, Wisconsin, Thursday night to take on the UW-Platteville Pioneers. The Kohawks, coming off a huge derby win the night before, would look to carry that momentum into tonight's game, but would be stopped in their tracks. The Pioneers would put up 21 first-half shots, three of which resulted in goals, to put the Kohawks in a massive deficit early. There was simply no answer as the first half finished 4-0 in favor of Platteville. Coe would find a bit of footing to slow the Platteville attack, but it wouldn't be enough as the match would end in defeat for the Kohawks

- Platteville was off to a relentless start, winning two corners in the first three minutes of the match and five shots in the first five minutes. It would only take 14 minutes for the Pioneer attack to break open the scoring, going up 1-0. The next 15 minutes would be more of the same for the Kohawk defense, having to defend corners and shots on goal until a second was scored in the 31st minute. Only three minutes later would the deficit swell to three, as the Kohawks would need to net three of their own to salvage the match.
- The first two minutes saw the Pioneers keeping on the pressure and testing the Kohawk net. Coe would register just their second shot of the match in the 58th minute, which was saved. Platteville would go on to add another to their lead, scoring in the 82nd minute for 4-0.
