By the time Bridget Anger Faivre finished her Kohawk women's soccer career, she had scored 73 goals, including a school record 21 her sophomore year and 22 her junior year. She was a three-time team MVP and then team captain and outstanding female athlete award finalist her senior year.

A four-time all-Midwest Conference South Division player, she also ran track her sophomore year. In addition to goals scored, she set single-season school records her junior year for points scored (55), points per game (3.44) and goals per game (1.38). During her senior campaign, she set school records for assists (13) and assists per game (0.76).

Twenty years removed from her soccer playing days, she holds the school record for career assists with 24. She remains at or near the top of every offensive category in Kohawk women’s soccer history.

Bridget joins Erica Struckmann Strodtz ’99 as women’s soccer representatives in the Coe Athletic Hall of Fame. Erica had this to say of her former teammate: “Her humble, confident leadership was important in my, and I believe my teammates’, development. Bridget didn’t have to say much because we learned from watching her hard work, dignified and mature demeanor, and steadiness. She was also a mother figure: comforting, warm, kind, and insistent that we give our individual and collective best. No doubt I became a better leader because I learned from her.”

Bridget has three adolescent sons and lives in Ottawa, Illinois. After putting her career on hold to raise the boys, she returned to teaching in 2015.
