Mike Kilburg, class of 2007, was a key figure in Coe's first conference title in 30 years as he was named the league MVP after his first year with the Kohawks. Kilburg led Coe to a 12-4 conference record in 2005-06, averaging 16.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game with the second-best single-season shooting percentage effort in school history. Kilburg was also named NABC All-Region after posting the ninth-most points in a single season with 431. He picked up another first-team Iowa Conference postseason selection following the 2006-07 season, where he totaled a personal best 441 points, the sixth most in a single season at the time of graduation. Kilburg owns four of the top-10 single-game shooting performances in school history and still appears in the record book 35 times, including ranking fourth in career field goal percentage and sixth in career scoring average.
