Don Stevenson was a four-year member of the men's basketball team which posted a record of 88-13 overall, while making four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Stevenson, who was the team's point guard, helped secure Coe's only four NCAA Tournament victories in 1973, 1975 and 1976. A two-time MWC defensive player of the year, Stevenson was named second-team all-conference in 1976. He ranks inside the top 10 in school history with over 250 total assists and is 11th in single-season assist average. Don ended his career inside the top 10 in scoring and still remains inside the top 40 today.
