Justin Watson's athletic performances at Coe were marked consistently by the qualities that identify champions - desire, intelligence, talent, and sportsmanship. In Justin's years in baseball, Coe either won or shared the conference title each season and he was named as a team co-captain during his sophomore and senior years. Justin was chosen as a team co-captain his senior year in football and was an all-conference backfield selection three times. During his senior year, Justin scored the only touchdown in a 6-0 win over Knox. Three weeks later he caught a pass on the two-yard line which was converted into another 6-0 win over previously undefeated Cornell at the Ram Homecoming. In his final two seasons, Justin was Coe's leading ground gainer. Away from the athletic field, Justin distinguished himself as well. He was voted Vice-President of his freshman class, was the treasurer of Sachem National Honorary Society for Senior Men and was a member of the Clan of C. In addition, Justin served on the Student Council for three years and was President of the Student Union Committee. Justin was equally involved as a fraternity man when he became the President of Tau Kappa Epsilon and a member of the Interfraternity Council. In light of the above accomplishments, it is understandable that Justin was selected for Coe College Who's Who. Justin was employed as a buyer for Armstrong's prior to buying his own business, Healys Sport Shop, where he is president of the firm. Justin has remained active in the sports world since graduation by serving as a high school and college official in football and baseball. It is indeed a pleasure for Coe College to induct Justin Watson into its Athletic Hall of Fame.
