Dung her four seasons in the lineup as catcher and outfielder, Coe won three conference championships and earned two NAd Division III tournament bids. Her .469 batting average her sophomore year is second in school history and no
one has touched her season record 33 stolen bases. In women's basketball, Shelly remains Coe's career leader in scoring with 1,225 points, 3-point shooting with 187 made and held goals made with 409. She scored a school record 39 3-pointers as a sophomore and again as a junior. Her 209 career steals is second in school history. A three-time all-conference player in both sports, Shelly was a two-time nominee
and the 1996 selection as the Bremner Outstanding Female Athlete at Coe. Shelly lives in the Twin Cities and works as a DEA agent for the Department of Justice. For her outstanding contributions to Kohawk athletics, I am honored to present Shelly Howe for induction into the Coe College Athletic Hall of Fame.
